Do You Need Your Freight There The Next-Day?

UPS Freight, Shipping Freight, Shipping, LTL, Truckload
It looks like UPS Freight has added lanes improving delivery times in the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, and Freightcenter's commercial and residential customers are reaping the benefits.

UPS Freight has added two-day shipping lanes between Chicago and Dallas, Boston and St. Louis and Philadelphia and Miami. It also has expanded next-day service between Cincinnati and Memphis, Tenn., and Columbus, Ohio, and Charlotte, N.C.

Service enhancements also have led to reduced transit times for shippers in Cleveland, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, New York City and Newark, N.J., UPS Freight said in a news release.

Freightcenter's web site does for shippers what Expedia does for travelers: Gives instant freight quotes for shipping a specific item from one zip code to another. In other cases, FreightCenter acts like an auctioneer, putting a customer's shipment needs up for bid among carriers looking to fill up their trucks.
