FreightCenter CEO and co-founder, Mathew Brosious is known for giving back to our community in many ways. FreightCenter contributed $2,000 to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation for volunteer shirts, while collecting over $1,700 worth of toys from both he and the collection bins placed in the office.

Recently FreightCenter also contributed $1,000 to Runaway Alternative Project House of New Port Richey.  The RAP House is an organization committed to working with families and the community to establish a nurturing environment for youth ages 10-17 who are runaway, homeless or in need of a short- term out of home placement. FreightCenter has also sponsored many employees to attend a variety of different fundraising walks.

FreightCenter also established a Cash for Caring Workplace Volunteer Program where employees were paid $12.00 an hour to volunteer their time.  Participants aided long-standing charities like the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Suncoast SPCA, Feeding America Tampa Bay, Youth and Family Alternatives in West Pasco and Toys for Tots West Pasco. The company paid out over $1,000 for the program, and FreightCenter is looking to continue it annually.

FreightCenter is exceptionally proud of this mention from TIA, as we continue to think of new and different ways to give back to our community.

CEO Matthew Brosious Named an Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist

In today's edition of the Gulf Coast Business Review, our CEO Matthew Brosious talks about his experience bringing the transportation and logistics industry online. In the article that features other successful entrepreneurs in Florida state, Matthew talks about what drew him to the industry.

FreightCenter, Inc. initially started as a side business when James Brosious, Matthew's father and CFO of the company, allocated space for the online freight shipping provider in one of his pack-n-ship franchise stores. Business took off and FreightCenter grew from a single-man operation to having 100+ employees in under 15 years.

We're extremely proud of our CEO for being recognized as one of Tampa Bay's top entrepreneurs. Without his influence, guidance and inspiration, FreightCenter.com wouldn't be the powerful freight shipping engine it is today. By servicing just under a million accounts, FreightCenter is one of the leading online providers of freight shipping services; including: LTL (less-than-truckload) freight, truckload logistics and project-based or specialized freight. FreightCenter.com offers value-added pricing, while working with recognizable carriers throughout the United States, Canada and beyond.

Located just outside of Tampa's city limits, FreightCenter's corporate offices occupy a campus featuring plush green areas, lakes and shade-filled forests. There is much in store for the future of FreightCenter.com, including a modern office renovation, new 3PL transportation software products and focused commitment on commercial shippers.

As a top Florida company to watch for growth and innovation, make sure you keep your eyes on FreightCenter.com. Read FreightCenter.com reviews and customer testimonials.
